a tale of hope

For the past few years, i have been suffering a very painful period every month. i thought it was just dysmenorrhea and i keep telling myself that tomorrow it would all be better that im just having a lousy period.
But i was wrong. i have been recently told by my Dr. that i have this disease that is why my periods have been painful. For a while i was sad, it felt that my tomorrow wouldn't come. i know its so negative but im so thankful for my bff who told me not to lose hope and that i could always pray for manageable pain.
So hope it is and medicine and a healthy diet :)

Endometriosis

i recently had an operation where an 10.6cm mass in my right ovary and an 6.3cm in my left ovary was removed.. my left ovary didn't survived because the right mass pushed them back. I now only have my right ovary.

The Doctor said that i have endometriosis and that this disease is getting a little common this days.. its a progressive disease that is not fatal, no cure but its manageable by medicine and a diet.. im searching the net for more natural remedies as the western medicine has a lot of side effects.. since im going to be at home for 60 days ( a mandatory rest after any major surgery) im going to blog about my research and my diet to see if i can lessen the pain.
